In May 2004, Maranatha High School purchased 13 acres of the former Ambassador College Campus located in Pasadena, California to serve as the school’s permanent campus. Since that time, Maranatha has been working to renovate the existing facilities on the campus for its students. In September 2005, Maranatha opened its doors on its new campus to a record high number of students.

Maranatha’s facilities include:

  • Our Academic Center houses 30 new classrooms including new science, biology, chemistry and physics labs as well as a state-of-the-art photography and Mac labs.

  • The school’s Athletic Center is home to an indoor competition-size swimming pool, a full-size gymnasium, weight rooms, and locker rooms.

  • Our state-of-the-art Athletic Field was renovated in the summer of 2005 and completely resurfaced with synthetic turf.

  • The Student Center houses the school’s kitchen and cafeteria, library, computer café (pc), and administrative offices.

  • The school’s grounds include a flowing stream (complete with koi fish) adjacent to the Academic Center and green space for our students to study outside.

  • The Student Center Annex is comprised of the school’s Business Office, Information Services, and Facilities Department.

  • A sophisticated security system is in place, complete with exterior cameras mounted throughout the campus in strategic locations.
