Welcome to the MHS Research Center!
Maranatha High School was pleased to enhance our Research Center in 2011 The goal of the Research Center is to help students grow stronger in their faith through scholarship and learning, as they meet together as a community. The Research Center is surrounded by windows that flood the room with light inviting students to research and learn in a comfortable environment. The library also features four collaborative learning rooms for small group work. All students have borrowing privileges and may access the Research Center before and after school, as well as during break and lunch.
The Research Center houses over 8000 print volumes that include periodicals, fiction, and non-fiction offerings including a recently enhanced Biblical reference section and a special collection in California History and the Picturing America Bookshelf awarded by the National Endowment for Humanities. Subscriptions are maintained to a variety of periodicals and daily newspapers. A great many more periodicals, newspapers and journals are available through our online subscription database LIRN.
To enrich our selection, the Maranatha High School Research Center has partnerships with the following libraries: Pasadena City College, Azusa Pacific University, and Citrus College.
All General Collection materials are available to check out for a two week time period with availability to renew.
