Student Ministries Events
There are several weekly Bible Studies at Maranatha High School led by both local pastors and teachers. Each Bible Study is created specifically to equip and resource our students with necessary tools such as Biblical literacy and faith integration that are needed to impact this world as Salt and Light.
Nights of Worship
Throughout the year, the Office of Campus Ministries host several opportunities to engage in a “Night of Worship” which aim to joyfully celebrate the person and promises of Jesus Christ through prayer and praise and worship.
Spiritual Emphasis Week
Each semester Maranatha High School desires to intentionally carve out a thematic conference style week known as “Spiritual Emphasis Week” where we gather to participate in various forms of spiritual disciplines such as prayer, fasting, worship, and celebration.
Spiritual Life Retreat
Each year, Maranatha High School embarks on a Spiritual Life Retreat (SLR) over the MLK Holiday weekend in January. We do so to participate both individually and corporately in the exploration and deepening of our faith. During this time, students hear from a keynote speaker, worship, pray, meet in small groups, participate in crazy games, and enjoy God’s creation through a variety of activities.
