Boys Cross Country
The Boys Cross Country Team is about developing character through the love of running. The Cross Country Team competes in the fall season in the Olympic League, Division IV. However, Cross Country is developed as a year round program, starting each year in early summer with a meeting and summer training schedule. The highlight of the year is the pre-season training camp held for one week near the end of summer. Students experience both training and team bonding while they spend time together in Sequoia National Park. Besides competing in the Olympic League, the team competes in the Don Bosco, Bell-Jeff, Furman, and Mt. Sac Invitationals. They also typically compete in one national event per year. The Boys Cross Country Program has had great success at Maranatha. They are 29 time League Champions, 6 time CIF SS Champions, and 2 time State Champions.
