Head Cheer Coach:

Fall/ Winter Seasons 

Maranatha is seeking a Head Cheer Coach with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to our mission. Maranatha's Head Cheer Coach will be instrumental in fostering student personal growth and development. Additionally, the Head Cheer Coach is responsible for choreographing and teaching cheer routines, conducting practices, and supervising the team all events where the squad cheers.


 

 

Special Event Coordinator: Temp (June - September 30. 2015)

Regular, Full-time, starts Immediately

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking a Special Event Coordinator with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education. This full-time, temporary position will be responsible to coordinate, and oversee all aspects of Maranatha’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend (September 10-12, 2015) while working closely with the Marketing and Communications team.  This highly creative and organized individual will ensure that every detail of the 3 days of events has been documented, communicated, and implemented.  Term of position is from hire date through September 30, 2015.

Theology Teacher: 2015-16 

Full-time, 10 month position, starts August, 2015

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking an Theology teacher with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education.  Strong teachers will be instrumental in helping fulfill our potential as a benchmark Christian educational center providing excellent college preparatory education in the most vibrant Christ-revering contexts possible.

All candidates should be experienced, creative and compassionate visionary leaders, able to relate to faculty, staff, parents, students, and alumni, as well as the community at large. Candidates must also demonstrate the skill and wisdom to lead Maranatha’s students in a context of continuous quality improvement integrating faith and learning in a meaningful and measurable framework.

Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and a teaching Credential and/or a Master’s Degree in an appropriate field such as Theology, Biblical Studies, or Apologetics from an accredited institution, as well as a minimum of five years of high school teaching experience.  He/she will have a proven and successful track record in improving student achievement, preferably in faith-based institutions.

Director of Development: 

Full-time, 12 month position, starts Immediately

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking a Director of Development with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education.  The Director of Development  reports to the Headmaster  and is responsible for managing and supervising staff and developing  all  aspects  of  Maranatha's fundraising  office  including:  Raiser's  Edge (RE)  database  administration  and development,  data services  and gift processing,  and data analytics.   The Director  of Development  is a highly collaborative position  responsible  for  developing  the  technology,  systems,  processes  and  personnel  that  leverages  the  capacity  of  all aspects of a data-driven  Advancement  office from donor acquisition  to long-term donor loyalty to major and estate gifts. The Director of Development also helps to develop and implement fundraising strategies.

Senior Accountant: 
Full-time, 12 month position, starts Immediately

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking a Senior Accountant with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education. The Senior Accountant delivers accurate financial information to assist in the stewardship of the school’s financial resources. This position will provide assistance to the Accounting Manager in preparation of reports for decision making by the Board of Trustees, Audit Committee, Senior Management, and other program administrators. Is a primary user of Blackbaud’s Financial Edge school management software, therefore, knowledge and experience using Financial Edge and/or other Blackbaud modules is highly desirable.


 

Accounting Manager: 
Full-time, 12 month position, starts May 1, 2015

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking an Accounting Manager with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education. The role of the Accounting Manager will supervise the Finance Staff and ensure the timely and accurate preparation of Balance Sheet, Consolidated Income Statement and Departmental Income Statements on a monthly basis.  Reviews reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts and Income Statement accounts, while providing account review and analysis to ensure accurate coding of transactions to the General Ledger.  Ability to research accounts and transactions to provide reporting systems that will accurately reflect data to all levels of management.  Preparation of year-end audit schedules and tax information.  Ensures timely preparation of reports and external compliance forms.  Must be organized and able to handle multiple requests, deadlines and projects effectively.


 

Administrative Assistant for Student Services & Attendance: 

Full-time, 12 month position, starts Immediately

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking an Administrative Assistant for Student Services & Attendance with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education. The role of the Administrative Assistant for Student Services & Attendance is to assist and support the Dean of Students and the Academic Center.  Duties include general clerical, receptionist, attendance and project based work.  This position will be responsible for projecting a professional image through in-person and phone interaction.

International Student Associate Director: CLOSED
Full-time, 12 month position

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking an International Student Associate Director with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education. The role of the International Student Associate Director is to assist and support the International Student Director with the international admission process and the administration of the International Program, specifically the Home Stay Program at Maranatha High School. This position involves being detail orientated, able to multi-task and to communicate effectively with international/domestic parents, students, agents and agencies, schools, and other Maranatha personnel that assist with the international program.


 

Instructional Technology Specialist:
Full-time, 12 month position, starts immediately

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking an Instructional Technology Specialist with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education. The Instructional Technology Specialist for Instructional Technology works collaboratively with faculty to provide pedagogical and technical consulting to design, develop, and implement instructional content, courses and projects that enrich teaching and learning through the use of technology. This position provides leadership in the development of strategic approaches for the integration of technology into the educational environment with a special focus on curriculum design. This position may also teach the 10th - 12th grade Technology and Digital Media class.
