Associate Dean of Admissions:

Full time, 12 month position 

Maranatha is seeking an Associate Dean of Admissions with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to our mission. The Associate Dean of Admissions supports all Admissions Office, outreach, enrollment and student recruitment efforts at MHS by creating positive professional relationships and interactions with prospective students and parents of prospective students. The Associate Dean of Admissions will oversee all department communication and events. He/she will build positive relationships with Maranatha students and families to help create a positive and welcoming community. He/she will report to the Dean of Admissions and will work closely with all academic areas of the school.

 

English Teacher (multiple positions):

Full time, 10 month position 

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking English teachers with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education.  Strong teachers will be instrumental in helping fulfill our potential as a benchmark Christian educational center providing excellent college preparatory education in the most vibrant Christ-revering contexts possible.

All candidates should be experienced, creative and compassionate visionary leaders, able to relate to faculty, staff, parents, students, and alumni, as well as the community at large. Candidates must also demonstrate the skill and wisdom to lead Maranatha’s students in a context of continuous quality improvement integrating faith and learning in a meaningful and measurable framework.

Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in English and an ELA California Teaching Credential and/or a Master’s Degree in an appropriate field from an accredited institution, as well as a minimum of five years of high school teaching experience.  He/she will have a proven and successful track record in improving student achievement, preferably in faith-based institutions.

 

AP Physics/Physics Teacher:

Full time, 10 month position 

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking an AP Physics/Physics teacher with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education.  Strong teachers will be instrumental in helping fulfill our potential as a benchmark Christian educational center providing excellent college preparatory education in the most vibrant Christ-revering contexts possible.

All candidates should be experienced, creative and compassionate visionary leaders, able to relate to faculty, staff, parents, students, and alumni, as well as the community at large. Candidates must also demonstrate the skill and wisdom to lead Maranatha’s students in a context of continuous quality improvement integrating faith and learning in a meaningful and measurable framework.

Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and a Physics California Teaching Credential is preferable and/or a Master’s Degree in an appropriate field from an accredited institution, as well as a minimum of five years of high school teaching experience.  Experience teaching AP courses required.  He/she will have a proven and successful track record in improving student achievement, preferably in faith-based institutions.

 

Science Teacher (multiple positions):

Anatomy & Physiology Teacher:

Full time, 10 month position

All candidates should be experienced, creative and compassionate visionary leaders, able to relate to faculty, staff, parents, students, and alumni, as well as the community at large. Candidates must also demonstrate the skill and wisdom to lead Maranatha’s students in a context of continuous quality improvement integrating faith and learning in a meaningful and measurable framework.

Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and a Biological Sciences or Health Sciences California Teaching Credential and/or a Master’s Degree in an appropriate field from an accredited institution, as well as a minimum of five years of high school teaching experience.  He/she will have a proven and successful track record in improving student achievement, preferably in faith-based institutions.

 

Math Teacher:

Full time, 10 month position 

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking a Math teacher with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education.  Strong teachers will be instrumental in helping fulfill our potential as a benchmark Christian educational center providing excellent college preparatory education in the most vibrant Christ-revering contexts possible.

Candidates must also demonstrate the skill and wisdom to lead Maranatha’s students in a context of continuous quality improvement integrating faith and learning in a meaningful and measurable framework. 

Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and a Mathematics Teaching Credential and/or a Master’s Degree in an appropriate field from an accredited institution is preferable, as well as a minimum of five years of high school teaching experience.  Candidate should be able to teach all levels of high school mathematics including but not limited to trigonometry, statistics, math analysis, calculus, geometry, and algebra.  He/she will have a proven and successful track record in improving student achievement, preferably in faith-based institutions.

 

Theology Teacher:

Full time, 10 month position 

To help achieve our vision, Maranatha is seeking a Theology teacher with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education.  Strong teachers will be instrumental in helping fulfill our potential as a benchmark Christian educational center providing excellent college preparatory education in the most vibrant Christ-revering contexts possible.

Candidates should have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in an appropriate field such as Theology, Biblical Studies, or Apologetics from an accredited institution, as well as a minimum of five years of high school teaching experience.  He/she will have a proven and successful track record in improving student achievement, preferably in faith-based institutions.

 

Head Girls Volleyball Coach:

Fall Season 

Maranatha is seeking a Head Girls' Volleyball Coach with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to our mission. Director of Advancement and Communications:

Full time, 12 month position 

Maranatha is seeking a Director of Advancement and Communications with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to Christian Education. As Maranatha’s senior fund raising and communications officer, this position will be instrumental in helping lead Maranatha to its maximum potential in its mission to provide the highest quality college preparatory education in the most vibrant Christ-revering context possible.  The candidate should be an experienced visionary leader, have significant successful experience in fund raising and marketing for faith-based nonprofit organizations, and be able to relate to various constituencies including faculty, staff, parents, students, alumni, board members, and the community at large. Maranatha is seeking a Vice Principal of Academic Services with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to the highest quality of Christian Education. As Maranatha’s instructional facilitator this position will be instrumental in helping fulfill our potential as a benchmark Christian educational center providing excellent college preparatory education in the most vibrant Christ-revering contexts possible. The Vice Principal serves as the Chief Academic Officer of the institution, providing leadership for the instructional staff to ensure achievement of the school’s educational objectives.

Director of Operations/ Facilities:

Maranatha is seeking a Director of Operations/ Facilities with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to our mission. This position will manage departments that are responsible for school Security, Food Services, Transportation and Facilities. He/she must have strong project management skills. The position is directly responsible for implementing and maintaining systems, resources and routines to facilitate student achievement in non-instructional areas.

A/V Systems Technician:

Full time, 12 month position

Maranatha is seeking an A/V Systems Technician with a dynamic Christian testimony and passionate commitment to our mission. This position will be responsible for configuring and supporting Audio/Video needs for on-campus events. This position will also provide helpdesk support, resolve problems and assist the technology department with all projects and/or responsibilities, assigned by the Director of Technology.
