Carpooling

Carpool Form (PDF)

Carpooling

To reduce drop off and pick up traffic, we encourage all families at Maranatha to carpool if possible. The carpool coordinator is the Dean of Admissions, John Rouse, who is responsible for the coordination, implementation and operation of the carpool program at the school.
  • All families are encouraged to carpool. Those families, students, and staff members who participate in our program are rewarded for their part in minimizing the impact of school traffic in our neighborhood.

  • Students who apply for a Parking Permit as a carpool vehicle are given priority in receiving a Parking Permit. Staff who carpool are assigned a preferential parking space.

  • Parents who register as carpooling families will qualify to have five hours of their S.O.S. hours fulfilled for each semester they maintain their carpooling status.

  • Parent Carpooling Registration forms are available to families throughout the school year on this website and in the office in the Student Center.

  • A database of our families by zip code is available for families interested in establishing a carpool in the office in the Student Center.
