Uprising – August 20, 2010
At the beginning of each year, ASB works to put on Uprising for the entire student body. This is a day of games where classes can bond with each other in competition (with various games) and in chapel (where the spiritual theme is announced for the year). The food and fun of Uprising create a sense of community.

Freshman Elections - September 1, 2010
All new freshman interested in developing his or her leadership skills and serving MHS should make sure to run for an ASB position. Details on how to run will be announced in school.

ACSI Retreat – October 2-4, 2010
In the fall, ASB leaders go on a retreat with other school’s ASB officers to hone their skills in leading the campus and planning activities.

Homecoming and Spirit Week – October 4-8, 2010
Each fall, preceding Homecoming, ASB organizes Spirit Week. During Spirit Week students enjoy fun activities, dress up days, and a pep rally.

Homecoming Game - October 8, 2010
The Homecoming football game is a great time for students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff to celebrate MHS and enjoy one another's company. Go Minuteman!

Homecoming Dance - October 9, 2010
This is an on-campus, casual dance for students.

Spiritual Emphasis Week - November 15-19, 2010
The school uses this week to focus on the spiritual theme for the year, to hear from special speakers in chapel each day, and to emphasize how God is working on campus.

Spiritual Life Retreat - January 15-17, 2011
Students and faculty have the opportunity to particpate in an optional retreat in the mountains to pray, worship, fellowship together and listen to special speakers. This event is organized by our student chaplains.

Winter Formal – January 28, 2011
In January the Senior Class sponsors a Winter Formal Dance for students.

Sadie Hawkins – March 5, 2011
In the tradition of Sadie Hawkins, MHS ladies have the opportunity to ask the guys to go on an activity with them.

Spring Spirit Week - March 14-18, 2011
This is a week filled with dress up days and class competitions to raise school spirit.

ASB Cabinet Elections - March 23, 2011
Students will vote on qualified candidates running for the ASB Cabinet (President, VP, Secretary, Tresurer).

Powder Puff – March 18, 2011
The junior girls battle the senior girls in flag football.

The Exchange - April 1, 2011
This event is put on by our chaplains and is designed to raise awareness concerning social justice issues such as poverty and human trafficking.

Prom – April 15, 2011
This is the formal dance for the spring sponsored by the Junior Class.

Class Officer Elections - April 27, 2011
Students vote on candidates interested in serving their school as Class President, VP and Representatives.

“Grams”
Throughout the year, ASB sponsors “Grams” such as “Thank you Grams”, “Christmas Grams”, and “Valentine Grams” to encourage students to send uplifting messages to each other.

BBQs – Senior BBQs 9/8, 11/5, 12/3, 3/3, 4/1. All School BBQs 10/1, 2/4, 5/6.
Each month ASB sponsors Senior BBQs and from time to time ALL School BBQs to promote community and school spirit.

Senior River Rafting – May 24-26, 2011
At the end of the year, the seniors are sent off with a fun annual senior rafting trip.
