There are several opportunities for students to serve our community and our world. For more information on any of the following outreaches, please contact our Director of Student Ministries (contact information below).
Regular Service Opportunities for Maranatha High School Students:
Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan’s Purse)
In November, students bring shoe boxes full of Christmas presents for underprivileged children.
30 Hour Famine
MHS students participate in a 30 Hour Famine (through World Vision) to help bring awareness and money for starving children throughout the world. Besides raising money and participating in the 30 hour fast, students will also participate in a community service activity.
Mexico Mission
During the week of Spring Break, approximately students sleep in tents on dirt, brave 100 degree weather, and go without showers. For one week in Mexico, students partake in a life-changing experience that has them becoming the hands and feet of those who bring Good News.
Summer Mission Trips
Maranatha offers summer missions opportunities for interested students. The number of opportunities, participation requirements, and locations may vary each year.
