Our student body has increased almost 45% in the last six years along with staffing to support these students. While our current campus has supported this growth well over these past years, it is evident that our facilities and programs must grow along with our student body.
Maranatha's School Board, along with the Senior Administration and a wide variety of constituent groups (faculty, current parents, past parents, alumni, and students) spent the 2008-09 school year completing a strategic plan for the school’s immediate future (1-3 years) in the areas of faculty life, academic curriculum/college counseling, student life, admissions and school operations. The yearlong strategic plan discussions included an analysis of school facilities and building growth, enrollment projections, refinements to curriculum, programmatic needs, spiritual life enhancements, staffing, finances, athletic programs and needs, performing arts opportunities, maintenance and security. The recently completed strategic plan will drive the school’s master planning process, and together both initiatives will dictate future capital efforts needed for our students on this campus.
As stewards of this beautiful campus, and more importantly, as educators and mentors of the students we serve, it is clear that our work is not done. We will keep our community informed as we prayerfully and thoughtfully plan for the future.
