Athletic Facilities

Most of Maranatha's athletic teams utilize Maranatha facilities for practice and competitions. Below is a description of Maranatha's athletic facilities.
 |
Pool
Located next to the gymnasium on the south part of our MHS campus is an indoor competition-size swimming pool. This remarkable 6-lane waveless pool also boasts both 1 and 3-meter diving boards. Both the swimming and diving programs use the pool for practices and competitions. MHS athletes and coaches of a variety of sports are blessed to have a swimming facility to use for year round training and conditioning.

Gym
Sharing the same building as our pool is our newly refurbished, collegiate sized gymnasium. This beautiful facility, ripe with red, white and blue, is shared by our volleyball and basketball programs for both practice and competition. It also is used for chapel services and extra-curricular activities, ASB functions and physical education and dance classes.

Field
At the center of our MHS campus is our state-of-the-art synthetic field, unveiled in October 2005, just in time for our very first homecoming football game on our own campus! This multi-purpose field is utilized by a variety of sports including football, soccer, softball, cheerleading and track and field practice. This field, uniquely located above the parking complex, is surrounded by lush landscape and is a great place for fans to come cheer on our Minutemen.

Weight Rooms
Located adjacent to the pool are two full service weight rooms. These facilities are used for physical education and weight training to complement our athletic program.
