Incoming freshmen are required to take a placement test. Maranatha utilizes the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). All students applying to upper grades (10-12) must submit a copy of their current transcript and a standardized test from the previous year.
To register for the exam, go to www.iseetest.org and click "registration". It is necessary to register 3 weeks before the day of the exam. Maranatha’s school code number is 052686. Students who are applying for Early Admissions are encouraged to take the exam by November 20th. The December 4th exam will be accepted for Early Admissions. The February 5th exam will be accepted for Regular Admissions. Additional ISEE test sites can be located on the above listed website.

Test Preparation:
The Educational Records Bureau (www.erbtest.org) has made the “What to Expect on the ISEE” available online at no charge. Students and parents have the opportunity to experience a full-length sample ISEE exam. This is an excellent tool for families to better understand what to expect on the ISEE exam.
