Maranatha Turns 50 this Year!

In August of 1965, junior high school teacher Don Oliver was busy working on his dream of creating a Christian high school in the San Gabriel Valley. Don's work of finding students, hiring teachers, and identifying board members paid off when Maranatha High School was dedicated on September 12, 1965. In its inaugural year, Maranatha educated twenty-nine students on its temporary campus at Arcadia Union Church. As we enter our fiftieth year of education this year, Maranatha remains a dynamic Christian high school dedicated to providing Christ-revering, college preparatory education. read more
